[April 27, 2026]- Western Building Products welcomes Christine Metcalf as new Chief Financial Officer. Headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Western is a 100% Employee-Owned company actively engaged in the manufacturing and distribution of residential building products in Wisconsin, Indiana, Iowa and Illinois. As the executive leader of Accounting and Finance, Technology and Human Resources, Christine will be regularly engaged in all aspects of the employee stock-ownership plan (ESOP).
Christine holds a BBA in Accounting and Management from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and an MBA from Marquette University. With more than 25 years of experience leading finance and operations, she has built a distinguished career guiding strong teams within global organizations, including Johnson Controls, SC Johnson, and Newell Rubbermaid.
Known for her strategic mindset and collaborative leadership style, Christine has led complex financial and operational initiatives that drive growth and long-term value. Most recently, she served as Chief Financial Officer at Kalmbach Media Co., where she successfully led the sale of the company’s assets, delivering significant value to stakeholders.
She is passionate about developing engaged teams and is recognized for working alongside organizations to build on strong foundations and support sustainable growth. A committed member of the community, Christine is a long-time volunteer and past board member of Friends of Art, a support organization that contributes meaningfully to the Milwaukee Art Museum.
